...since June 1, 1991, when UNIVERSAL PIG
GENES, INC. and its new staff started, they have brought IBS back to the
forefront of the industry. IBS is celebrating it's 23rd year of being the
"AI" Innovators.
IBS is committed to earning
your business and keeping it !!!
International Boar Semen (IBS),
a division of Universal Pig Genes,Inc., is committed to
helping the pork producer of any size adapt to the rapidly changing industry.
Since 1976, IBS's commitment to providing superior swine genetics to the swine
industry has been unequalled. IBS was the first "AI" stud to offer
frozen semen, to identify genetically superior performance tested sires, both
central tested and on-farm, to offer genetics from other countries of the world;
to classify bloodlines as Terminal, Maternal or General and to let their
customers utilize F1's and Hybrids in their genetic programs.
In the seven years since UPG,Inc acquired IBS,
many positive changes have taken place. Our Semen Quality Control Program has
clients reporting higher farrowing rates and litter sizes using IBS semen in
comparison to their results with semen from other Studs. The quality of our
genetics is unequalled.
Our staff is in demand to present "AI"
seminars and on-the-farm training. International interest has never been
greater. We are now one of three AI studs in the United States approved
for semen shipments to China.
