The IBS “QSA” program includes –                                    

· Manual Semen Counts eliminating abnormal cells, resulting in a true sperm count

· Achrosomal Evaluation

· Standardized criteria for resting boars with illness, injuries, or abnormal semen counts

· Non-pooled semen to eliminate the use of sub-fertile boars, increasing the ease of identifying and tracking boars

· Individual samples obtained and evaluated on every semen collection at IBS

· Standardized semen to extender ratio to ensure the best possible conception

· Routine evaluations of semen motilities on days 3, 5 and 7 after collection
